One of two graphic designers for the Calloway County High School’s newspaper, David Thomas is a junior for the 2025-26 school year. While he may seem like he does not want to talk to people, that could not be further from the truth. He does not talk to people because he cannot find a safe way to talk to others without worrying. David enjoys playing a variety of instruments from the piano to the guitar, and while he is not the best at playing them, he will continue to play them for as long as he has the time. During his free time David often tries to talk to friends or create more items for his games. On the weekends David spends his entire Saturday getting ready for D&D at the card shop in Murray. On Sundays he takes the time to rest for the next day. While David may seem like he is smart, he just got lucky. Back in 2021 David moved to Murray in the middle of seventh grade, and when he went to class the materials had already been taught to David that year. Because he already knew the topics for the class, the teacher decided to bump him up to advanced. This opened up other advanced classes for David to attend, and that has allowed David to have the last few years of his school career in advanced classes.
